Stance

Stance in writing refers to the position or viewpoint that a writer takes on a particular topic or issue. It’s like expressing your opinion or perspective on the subject you’re writing about. Stance can be influenced by personal beliefs, experiences, or the purpose of the writing.

It helps to establish your position and guide the content and arguments in your writing. So, when you take a stance in your writing, you’re making your position clear and presenting your thoughts on the matter. You can choose to hold a stance or stay neutral.

Throughout this class I had to write on a neutral stance on my informative review which taught me which was the best language to use when doing so. I also had to express my opinion on many tasks which taught me how to support my stance.

Down below I listed some tips I learned when writing informative review.
