Acknowledge your and others’ range of linguistic differences as resources, and draw on those resources to develop rhetorical sensibility

In my English class, I can say that I was able to embrace linguistic differences by participating in open discussions and group activities. Engaging in activities that promoted peer-to-peer interaction, such as group presentations, debates and peer review. By working with classmates who have different linguistic backgrounds, I was able to learn from other’s perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of language as a key form of communication. Additionally, reviewing diverse texts from various students exposed me to different rhetorical styles and language variations. Embrace the opportunity to engage with classmates who may understand English in different ways, from myself who is not a native speaker created a supportive and inclusive environment for me and hopefully the people around me. I also got to learn more about the differences in linguistics between students of different ethnic background which made it easier for me to develop rhetorical sensibility.

Example of me pointing out a problem with the linguistic difficulty of my peers draft.
